Join Olympic Peninsula tour guide, Nina Sarmiento, on an interpretive nature walk near the Elwha River. Dammed for just over a century, and subject of the award winning documentary "The Memory of Fish", the river faces further challenges from logging in the watershed. Together with special guest Brel Froebe from the Center for Responsible Forestry, you will explore the Aldwell Timber Sale Unit 2, a legacy forest scheduled to be cut over the next two years.
